Taoists believe that if a person’s Chi is not stable, their mind cannot be stable.
This is why they focussed so much on developing Chi practices to help us.
They also believe that if a person cannot relax sufficiently, their mind cannot go inside their body.
How to Manage Your Mindset & Emotions Riding, is an interactive online training I developed based on Taoist Methods to help riders to manage their emotions riding.
It’s mainly for people who get nervous riding. It’s also for people who want to learn to let go of blocked energy in their body. This is what impairs our ability to be truly present to our current experience.
You’ll learn how to make your Chi balanced and stable, so you and your horse can feel connected and secure together.
You’ll learn the skills and strategies based on Taoist Methods to get inside your body and keep it calm while you’re riding.
This will also help to keep your horse calm too.
You’ll learn to let go of trauma from your Past that you’re still holding in your body, that is affecting you in the Present.
Taoists believe we are largely controlled by this blocked energy.
If we learn to let go of past issues, and not be unwittingly creating stuff for our future, then we can be present to just what we have to deal with in the here and now.
Then we can use the skills we develop through training with the Chi of our body to manage our mind and emotions, so riding is an enjoyable experience for us and our horse too!
This is an interactive online training, where you’re encouraged to practice and learn each week and to write about your progress, for your own interest and so you can be actively engaged in learning and progressing, and also to get feedback and support.
