They also believe that if a person cannot relax sufficiently, their mind cannot go inside their body.
'How to Manage Your Mindset & Emotions Riding', is an interactive online training I developed based on Taoist Methods to help riders to manage their emotions riding.
It's mainly for people who get nervous riding, whether they're confident most of the time and they just get nervous in certain situations, such as riding in open spaces, or in competition or riding certain horses, or whether they feel anxious most of the time.
You'll learn how to make your Chi balanced and stable, so you and your horse can feel connected and secure together.
You'll learn the skills and strategies based on Taoist Methods to get inside your body and keep it calm while you're riding.
This will also help to keep your horse calm too.
You'll learn to let go of trauma from your Past that you're still holding in your body, that is affecting you in the Present.
If we learn to let go of past issues, then we can be present to just what we have to deal with in the here and now.
Then we can use the skills we develop through training with the Chi of our body to manage our mind and emotions, so riding is an enjoyable experience for us and our horse too!
This is an interactive online training, where you're encouraged to learn and practice each week and to write about your progress in our Forum, for your own interest and also to get feedback and support!
