Filters can be identities we create for ourselves or egos. Sometimes we unconsciously create identities and we may already have these in place and not even realise it.
These identities create a sense of separation between us and our horse. In Taoist thought, a feeling of ‘them’ and ‘us’ is created when we categorise ourselves with identities and this is what causes the separation.

Equestrian Tai Chi is a natural practice for horses, animals are closer to Nature than we are and are more in tune with its elements. Taoists revered the balancing qualities of Nature and tried to emulate its movement and copy it into Tai Chi!
It’s always intrigued me why horses appear to relax more than their riders, when their riders practice Equestrian Tai Chi, and in this Episode I explore a possible reason why!
