Lisa Scott

Lisa Scott, Certified Equestrian Tai Chi Instructor Level 2,

Equestrian Tai Chi Connected Riding 1,

Coach in Training for Equestrian Tai Chi Connected Riding, has already taken part in a full year’s training.

lisa-eventingMy Name is Lisa Scott, I’m based in Consett, County Durham, United Kingdom.

I have been around horses most of my life and had many varied jobs working with horses throughout the years. In 1999 I started a freelance business as a groom and quite by accident became an instructor in 2002 after helping a family teach their young children to ride and it progressed from there. I gained my level 3 Coaching Diploma in December 2014, and have since worked freelance teaching group lessons, private and semi private. I teach at the Pony Club and have worked in a riding school too.

I have always worked towards the riders having a better understanding of their own riding position and it’s affect on the horses way of going for a more harmonious partnership between horse and rider.

I discovered Equestrian Tai Chi in 2016. It was obvious right from the beginning this was the key to unlocking the potential of the horse and rider partnership I had been looking for! Watching them as they grow together in trust and confidence is a real delight and I’m sure if they could the horses would say Thank You!

If you are interested in developing that deeper connection with your horse and a sense of well being that allows you to be in the moment when riding and around your horse, I would love to hear from you.
